Soil Infiltration Testing & Groundwater Monitoring
EMI has specialized in Better Management Practice (BMP) studies for stormwater management since 2008, working closely with Caltrans on site screenings at more than 200 freeway locations along California’s coast. Beginning with a trench pilot study in Modesto, EMI has expanded its work to various projects throughout the state. Clients include the Ports of Long Beach and Los Angeles, as well as numerous cities and counties.
EMI provides comprehensive stormwater system evaluations, including soil borings, groundwater monitoring, geotechnical testing, and BMP design services. Notable projects include SR 99 in Modesto, I-405 in Los Angeles, and Pier E at the Port of Long Beach.
